This past March, the MACIC Branding Committee launched a logo design competition for students from member institutions. Incorporating the organization’s new tagline, Driving the Future Through Internships, the logo would be another piece in MACIC’s growing identity and brand. MACIC received over 25 submissions from students.
The selected design was created by Melissa Treinen, a senior and graphic design student at UW-Whitewater. Melissa currently works as a graphic artist in UW-Whitewater’s office of Career & Leadership Development, and she hopes to pursue a career in graphic design and marketing.
Melissa was recognized and the logo was unveiled at the 7th Annual Celebrate Internships! Employer Appreciation Social on June 15th.

As you can see, the logo has already been incorporated into the banner for the MACIC website. It has also been added to our LinkedIn Group page and to our Twitter profile.
Congratulations Melissa! MACIC really is moving into the future now!
